b is for ...

big, brave and beautiful ...

this morning i kissed my sweet little sidekick goodbye ... although it's not really goodbye ... we like to say "see you soon"

a five day fortnight at the sweetest little kindergarten filled to the brim with interesting objects, crafts, books and toys to explore and create with. the vegetable patch and flowers already flourishing due to  rain and kind teachers with warm smiles and big hearts.

i could not have asked for a more wonderful sidekick to spend my days with. you truly are big, brave, beautiful and oh so loved. x

  2. Oh Sarah, I feel tears just reading this! Grace starts kindy at the end of next week and I'm already feeling a mixture of emotions about it. How comforting to know you big boy is joining what sounds like a wonderful learning environment with so many adventures and new experiences ahead of him xx

  4. Awww. Such a big moment in both of your lifes. It happened here too, just two weeks ago. Our littlest one loves it, absolutely, but I still kind of miss him during the day and am always glad when I can pick him up again. I'm such a wimpy mama ;-)

  5. Such a wonderful new adventure he is embarking on....wish we could follow though :( He will have such a beautiful time and simply thrive. You have given him THE best possible start to his new journey. I know I am so very inspired by you as a Mumma. You should be very proud! Wishing you gentle days with these lovely little beings :) x

  7. Proud Mamma:) and lucky little boy. My kids are grown and I always feel a tug at my heart when I see a young mom that's just starting her family. Enjoy every second (even when it seems overwhelming). Time really does fly by.

  8. So beautiful! I'll be filled with emotion next year when this time comes for me. My eldest is starting three year old pre-school, just five hours a week, and her first-time in care, so we're easing into it as gently as we can xx
