swimming and singing at dusk

 







we pushed our evening rhythm back tonight and escaped the heat for a swim in the ocean. the sun was slowly setting, i watched the sand turn pink and the salty water sure did cool us down.

we laughed at our beach loving boy as he softly sung "it's beginning to look a lot like summer" to himself. he relished the feeling of running in and out of the ocean ... stopping only to gather shells, seaweed and smooth pebbles ... all still sitting at the bottom of my beach basket!
